Being at the heart of the SGI community, attending groundbreaking technical workshops and networking with innovative companies meant that the Virtual Farmers Market (VFM) formed partnerships crucial for their strategic development.
The VFM, the brainchild of Marcus Carter and Roger Saunt, is the fruit of a collaboration born within the SGI community which created an immersive 3D platform. It allows shoppers to browse through a virtual environment and give 50 small producers access to a new marketing tool set to revolutionise the way we shop for food.
The SGI supported Digital Presence’s application to the Lord Stafford Award 2009 where the company came second in the Achievement Through Innovation category.
