During his time at Coventry University Tim has directly supported the development of economic regeneration programmes (incorporating business incubation, international trade, technology transfer and access to finance). Tim has led the development of joint industrial/academic collaborations and has more recently delivered projects in partnership with the European Union and UK Trade and Investment which has included the role of Programme Director of the national UKTI Soft Landing Zone initiative.
Tim has an industrial background incorporating the establishment of large scale public private partnerships which focus upon technology transfer. Tim held previous roles within the Regional Development Agency supporting the role out of online e-Business programmes and has since been the lead with regard to the roll out of large scale e-Business and broadband programmes across the UK. Tim currently sits on the regional Interactive Media Cluster opportunity group for the West Midlands and remains on the board of two technology companies.
Tim has developed considerable experience in designing, developing and delivering technology led partnerships projects and also has been instrumental in the development of collaborative research and development programmes to support small businesses.
